Why: Little kids love these. It’s a beautiful present that does not make noise and is easy to clean up.
How we make it:
Cut out a duck shape, drill a hole a little bigger than the dowels you are using where its legs will be, drill a hole the same size as the dowel on the top of the duck’s tail feathers
Cut out 2 wheels, cut 2 slits into the wheels
Cut a dowel rod the width of the duck + 2 wheels + some wiggle room
Glue wheels to dowel while they are through the duck
Cut out of leather or pleather 2 duck feet
Insert duck feet into duck feet wheels, glue and nail
Insert a long dowel into duck’s tailfeather hole
Put a wooden ball on the top of the long pole
Paint the duck’s cute little face.
What: A classic child’s toy that is ageless. Children will put down the tablet and play with this one of a kind duck toy. We can even laser cut the child’s name and/or date on the toy.
