Build a Water Tank Shelter

We had an amazing weekend. We traveled far out of the city into an idilic piece of agricultural land. Crossing river fords with wild horses and cows.

Even when we got to the site we had to get all the materials, tools and volunteers up the mountain to the water tank. So we changed the tires on Alex’s truck and repaired the road.

We finally started building. We had a lot of help from students at Kalani High School.

We also got to build some great benches.

The kind of benches that transform into a picnic table

After a lot of hard work

We finished with time to spare

Oh and we ate Steak and Lobster
